Terms of Use

These terms describe the private application operated by Elvira Meyer Nielsen for access to her own Oura Ring data.

Personal use only

The application is intended solely for its owner and tools explicitly authorized by the owner. It does not offer public accounts, paid subscriptions, medical services or access to other people's information. Possession of a public website address does not grant permission to use the protected service.

Connection to Oura

Connecting requires an eligible Oura account and approval through Oura's authorization process. The owner chooses which available data categories to approve and may withdraw access at any time. Data availability depends on Oura, synchronization from the ring and any applicable account or membership requirements.

This is an independent application. It is not developed, endorsed or operated by Oura. Oura and Oura Ring are trademarks of their respective owners. Use of Oura's products and API remains subject to the applicable Oura terms and API agreement. These terms do not grant rights to Oura's intellectual property.

Permitted use and security

Use the application only for authorized personal access. Keep application access keys private. Do not access another person's data, bypass authentication or rate limits, publish credentials, resell data or use the service for unlawful purposes. Data obtained through the connection must not be used for advertising or AI model training. Any separately authorized sharing must comply with the relevant consent, service terms and law.

Information, not medical advice

Wearable measurements may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. The application does not provide diagnosis, treatment recommendations or emergency monitoring. Consult an appropriate healthcare professional for medical decisions.

Availability and costs

The operator does not charge a fee to access this personal application. The owner's separate Oura, domain and hosting costs remain their responsibility. No uptime or permanent availability is promised. The operator may maintain, change, suspend or discontinue the application, including if Oura changes its API or authorization requirements.

Privacy and ending access

The Privacy Policy explains processing, retention, recipients and deletion. The owner may disconnect through Oura or delete the application's stored connection. Disconnecting does not delete the owner's Oura account or information held independently by other recipients.

Responsibility

The application is provided as available for personal use. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator gives no guarantee that data is complete, uninterrupted or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
